Liliana Deirisarri is a Toronto based artist and former flamenco dancer. Liliana employs a variety of techniques in her work, ranging from more traditional oil painting, and acrylics to print-making and papier-mâché masks.

She studied and worked in Nantes, France, where she studied French and literature. In her adopted home of the city of Toronto, Liliana has worked closely with multiple Boards of Education and the Harbourfront Centre over the past fifteen years, teaching visual arts and creative movement and is currently also with the Early Years Centres. In addition, she taught art at CMS Montessori school for six years.

Liliana is comfortable surrounded by children, with a goal of having fun while helping them to express their           imagination and creativity through visual art forms (painting. masks, printmaking) and experience the excitement of accomplishment.

After her long and accomplished pedagogical career, Liliana is happy to return to her first love of making art and showcasing when she can in her home city of Toronto.
